Relationships are fostered within the congregation to help individuals feel valued, known and cared for by each other and by clergy. Those engaged in this ministry organize social events and catering, make phone calls and visits, and help out in a variety of practical ways.
This ministry functions best when there are many involved, therefore we always welcome new hands and new talents. We like to say “many hands make light the work” and that is especially true here. This ministry has opportunities for serving the congregation in small but appreciable ways, and is a great fit for those who prefer to do serve and volunteer behind the scenes.
