Home > Get Involved > Book Club

The Book Club meets monthly, often in the evening of the second or third Tuesday of the month, rotating among several members’ homes. The majority of titles are secular fiction, sometimes obtained from the book club sets available through the Coquitlam library.

The usual format is for each person in turn to describe their reactions to the book, adding any other observations or questions they care to make. A general discussion follows that may or may not stay on topic. The emphasis is on including people of all ages and getting to know each other; the books are just a pleasant means for doing so. Thus having read much of the book is helpful but not essential.

Please contact the church office for information about the date, time, and location of each meeting.

Upcoming meetings and books

We are currently meeting via Zoom.  Please find below the Spring schedule, and be in touch with the church office to be included in the Zoom invitation to each meeting.
