January 31^st: PRAYER – Brian Why pray?  That’s the big question Brian explores as he talks about his own prayer life and the comfort it has brought him throughout his life.  But that comfort hasn’t always been enough.  Like most of us, Brian has struggled with the messages we so often get that there is a “right” way to pray – and that we probably aren’t doing it.  So how can we find our way toward a prayer practice that feels meaningful and life giving?  Brian suggests a simple pattern that takes a cue from Jesus and leads us toward a prayer life that truly soothes the soul.
