DESCRIPTION:We did this one a couple of years ago and it was great. The trail head starts at Port Moody Senior and after some lovely forested area we get into a couple residential areas and then back into the trail and end up back at the church. There are some steep inclines when we hit the residential areas. Totalkilometres is about 7 and it should take about 2-3 hours. \n\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, August 31Where: Gather at the church for 8:30 am \n\n\n\nBring water and snacks and trail runners should be just fine. Dogs on a leash are welcomed! \n\n\n\nPlease let the church office (kolchurchoffice@telus.net) know if you are interested in coming. The more the merrier!! \n

DESCRIPTION:A hike is planned for Saturday\, July 6 to Sugar Mountain in Anmore…rain or shine. We will meet at the church for 8:30 am and carpool to Jim and Karen Matthews’ place to park and start the hike. Pack water\, snacks and bug spray and I would recommend that you wear hiking boots or trail runners. Dogs are welcome on leash. The hike is 6.8km and will take about 3 hrs to complete. The trail is rated as moderate. \n\n\n\nRecent reviews for the Sugar Mountain Loop suggest it is a good trail with a nice incline\, beautiful views and quiet atmosphere.  Some mention loose rocks and muddy spots as well as the trail being well groomed and peaceful.  There could be bugs!! \n\n\n\nLooking forward to having you join us.
